Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team in Oak Park, IL. This is a part-time position requiring 14 hours per week, split across 2 days. The ideal candidate will begin ASAP and work with a diverse population, providing high-quality speech and language therapy services in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to children and/or adults as needed, based on individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Maintain accurate records of student/client progress and communicate updates to parents, caregivers, and relevant team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, special educators, and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care plans and educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Illinois state licensure required
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations in a clinical or school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for providing effective, patient-centered care in a flexible and dynamic setting
