Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Tukwila, WA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a part-time role with school districts in the Tukwila, WA area. We are seeking dedicated professionals passionate about helping students develop strong communication skills.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this position, including:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certification: Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Additional Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for an Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate from the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
- Experience: Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting is required
- Must meet any additional district-specific requirements

Job Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and student records
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing professional input
- Staying updated on best practices and regulations in school-based speech therapy
