Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Ashkum, IL
Remote, School Year 2024-2025 (ASAP to 6/5/2025)
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Ashkum, IL to fill a part-time, remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position for the current school year. This opportunity is for 10 hours per week, one day per week.
Position Details:
- Duration: ASAP – 6/5/2025
- Hours: 10 hours per week (1 day/week)
- Caseload:
- 6 students in grades K-4
- 6 students in grades 5-8 (mostly in life skills program)
- Student Needs:
- 1 bilingual student (Spanish-English)
- 3 students with Down Syndrome
- 1 student with Autism
- Younger students use AAC
- Required Experience:
- AAC device experience
- Must hold an active IL license and PEL (Please send screenshot with your application)
- Salary: Starting at $50/hour
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (will accept English-only applicants)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students with various needs, including AAC users
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other specialists
- Offer direct therapy services and conduct assessments
- Provide support to middle school students in a life skills program
