Remote Speech-Language Pathologist
VocoVision has partnered with a great school district in the Port Washington, WI, area that is looking to hire a remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the remainder of the 24-25 school year. Job Details:
- Part-time, between 20-25 hours per week
- Caseload: High school, intellectual disabilities with few articulation students.
- Hourly rate – paid weekly
- Covers direct and indirect services
- Rate dependent on telehealth experience
- School will work with contractor to set up a flexible schedule.
- This open role is an independent contractor position
- Professional liability insurance is required upon offer
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnosis of speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
- Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual student’s needs in the areas of communication, language development, articulation, and social communication virtually.
- Collaborate remotely with teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.
Experience:
- Two years of previous experience in a school-based setting is required.
Certification:
- Wisconsin Speech Language Pathologist License
- WI DPI certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
