Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Opening in Palatine, IL
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dedicated school team in Palatine, IL. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a behavioral school setting, making a difference in the lives of students with severe and profound needs.
Position Details:
- Location: Palatine, IL
- Schedule: Full-time, 30 hours per week
- Caseload: Severe/Profound needs in a behavioral school setting
- Preferred Experience:
- Working with nonverbal students
- Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
Requirements:
- Active SLPA certification/licensure in Illinois
- School-based or similar relevant experience is preferred
- Passion for working with students with complex communication needs
