School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position – Lincoln, CA
We are looking for a dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support elementary students in Lincoln, CA. This full-time role will serve general education and RSP students in grades TK-5, allowing you to make a significant impact on young learners' communication skills and overall development. Position Overview:
- Location: Lincoln, CA
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Caseload: Elementary School (TK-5) general education and RSP students
- Caseload Size: Will not exceed 60 students
- Support Structure: There is a second SLP assigned to support ASD/SDC classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students in the general education and RSP population, focusing on effective interventions and individualized support.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and communication goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language delays, providing targeted therapy to address identified needs.
- Maintain documentation of student progress, adjustments to treatment plans, and communication with parents/guardians and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on best practices for supporting students' communication development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Active California SLP license.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
