Job Details:
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Littleton, CO
- Contract Type: School-Based, Contract
- Caseload: Varied, including elementary through high school students
- Weekly Hours: Full-time, approximately 35-40 hours per week
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving speech, language, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and address any challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of effective strategies and interventions.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
