Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Position in Bridgeport, CT
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Bridgeport, CT. This full-time role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ lives by helping them overcome speech and language challenges in a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress toward goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with state and school district policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations to enhance educational outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Connecticut SLP license (or ability to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
