Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) - School-Based

About the Position:
Soliant Health is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team in Federal Way. This full-time position will cover 2-3 school sites and involve working with a K-12 program, focusing on students with support needs. This is a full school year opportunity, providing you with the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and requirements.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with extensive support needs, in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication development.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and regularly report findings to parents and school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational programs.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- State licensure in Washington
- Previous experience working with students with extensive support needs in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based services to students
