Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Michigan
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school district in Michigan. This remote role provides an opportunity to deliver exceptional therapy services to individuals of all ages, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges through online therapy sessions.
- Create personalized treatment plans and set achievable goals tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches and track client progress over time.
- Collaborate with clients’ families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and client progress.
- Stay current with advancements in teletherapy practices and technology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous teletherapy or virtual care experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital tools.
