Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and evaluate disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; formulate and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Administer therapy, track progress, and adjust treatment strategies as required.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to address and support communication needs.
- Perform screenings, maintain detailed documentation, and engage in team meetings for effective planning.
- Promote student advocacy, provide training for staff, and pursue continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current North Carolina Teaching Certification optional
- North Carolina SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
- Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
- Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Guaranteed Weekly Hours
- Hourly Rate: $40-$50
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
- School hours
- Clinical/Technical Team on standby
