On-Site or Remote Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist in Plainfield, IL
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Plainfield, Illinois. This full-time position is available for either on-site or remote work, depending on the candidate's preference and situational needs. Ideal for professionals who are adept at both traditional and virtual therapy environments, this role aims to address and support diverse student needs in communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Design and implement targeted treatment plans, whether in person or via remote platforms.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and parents to maximize student outcomes.
- Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights to integrate speech therapy services effectively.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current or pending Illinois SLP licensure.
- Capability to deliver high-quality therapy sessions both remotely and in person.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
