Location: Virtual position based in Penasco, NM
CCC Required
Hourly Rate: $42-$47 per hour
Description: We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position will focus on providing virtual speech therapy services to students ranging from ages 3 to 18+ across one school site in Penasco, NM (zip code 87553). As the sole SLP on staff, you will be responsible for managing the full caseload, encompassing a range of speech and language needs.
Key Details:
- Ages: 3-18+ (YDI-12th grade)
- CCC Only: No Clinical Fellows (CFs), no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Schedule: Currently on a 4-day school week, transitioning to a 5-day week as per state guidelines. Our previous virtual SLP successfully managed the full caseload within the 4-day week.
Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience across a wide range of ages and speech disorders
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong organizational and communication skills for remote collaboration
- Comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and technology
