Job Overview:
VocoVision is hiring a Full-Time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year to support K-12 students across Ohio. This fully remote role allows you to provide speech and language therapy services through teletherapy, offering a flexible work environment while making a direct impact on students’ lives. You will receive ongoing support from both a clinical and technical team, as well as access to a comprehensive toolkit to enhance your virtual therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services remotely to students in Ohio
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with state and district requirements
- Adapt and customize therapy materials to meet the individual needs of students
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 students, especially in a school setting, preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students in a virtual environment
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working remotely
