Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and skilled School-Based Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Gilbert, AZ. This position is designed for the entire school year and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive educational setting. As a W2 contractor through Soliant Education, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate along with comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ needs for occupational therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to enhance students’ daily living and functional skills.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and assist in setting and achieving educational goals.
Qualifications Required:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Arizona.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Dedication to creating a positive and encouraging environment for students.
