Occupational Therapist for K-12th Caseload

Soliant Education is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist in Winnsboro, SC. This full-time position is available for the entire school year and provides a chance to work in a nurturing educational environment. As a W2 contractor with Soliant Education, you’ll receive a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs.
- Create and implement tailored therapy plans to enhance students’ functional abilities and independence.
- Deliver direct therapy services aimed at improving students’ daily living skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support student achievement.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Take part in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to setting and achieving educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for students.
