Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a dynamic school team in Chicago, IL. This full-time, full school year role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Conduct evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
- Intervention: Develop and implement customized therapy plans to support students' functional goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive environment for students.
- Therapy: Provide direct therapy services and track progress to ensure goals are being met.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- IEP Participation: Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and attend related meetings.
Qualifications:
- Degree: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students and professionals.
