About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team near Needville, TX! This school-based position offers the opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them develop essential speech and language skills for success in the classroom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in delivering therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Support students in improving their speech, language, and social communication skills.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Current Texas state license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
