We are hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work with K-12 students in Chicago, IL. This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students enhance their communication skills in a supportive school setting.
Position Details:
- Location: Chicago, IL
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Job Type: Full-time and part-time positions available
- Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in implementing therapy plans.
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention services under supervision.
- Work with students on articulation, fluency, and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success.
- Ensure compliance with state and school district regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active SLPA license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
