Now Hiring - School Speech Language Pathologist Job
Blazer Jobs has partnered with a school district in the Bridgeport, TX area to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is in a special education setting, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' speech and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in a special education setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and district requirements.
Requirements:
- State licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) are required (please specify state requirements).
- At least one year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in a special education setting.
