Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is thrilled to announce an opening for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Lawrence, MA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This contract role focuses on providing vital speech and language services to students in grades 9-12. As an onsite professional, you’ll engage directly with students, conduct evaluations, deliver therapy services, and collaborate with a dedicated educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to pinpoint students’ speech and language needs
- Provide individualized therapy services designed to help each student achieve their communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working with high school students is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
