Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in Hyde Park, VT.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students and consultative support to teachers.
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
- Document all sessions and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university.
- A valid Vermont Speech-Language Pathology license from the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.
- School-based experience or readiness to adapt to the school setting.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.
