Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions using telepractice platforms.
- Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
- Provide resources and strategies for teachers and families to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
