Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions using telepractice platforms.
  • Monitor and document student progress and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
  • Provide resources and strategies for teachers and families to support speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
