Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Royse City, TX. This is a full-time, school-based position that will run now through the end of the current school year. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students from K-12, helping them to overcome speech and language challenges, and promoting effective communication skills within a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students from K-12 in a school setting
- Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure students’ success
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with speech-language impairments
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Attend IEP meetings and provide updates on student progress as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
