Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Every Special Child. This is a full-time position within a school setting, working with students from Pre-K to 12th grade. As an SLP, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to set goals for student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (or eligibility for certification).
- Maryland State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
