*NEW* Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) Needed in Houston, Texas!

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our K-12 team. The Clinical Fellow will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assess and provide therapeutic services for students with speech and language disorders. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a supportive school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student progress and interventions.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students’ communication needs within the classroom setting.
- Engage with families to provide resources and strategies for supporting speech and language development at home.
- Stay current with research and best practices in speech-language pathology and education.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of the required clinical fellowship hours as mandated by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid [State] Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required for the duration of the clinical fellowship.
- Familiarity with K-12 education settings and experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
Additional Requirements:
- Background check as required by [State/School District].
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Proficiency in technology and experience with telepractice tools is a plus.
