*NEW* Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) Needed in Columbus , NE

Position Overview:
Join our team as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, supporting students across various schools within our district. This full-time, supervised role offers an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience and develop clinical skills under the mentorship of an experienced speech-language pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders (articulation, language, fluency, voice disorders).
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students' needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators and parents to set goals.
- Document and track student progress according to state and district regulations.
- Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, special education teams, and administrators, to foster a supportive environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop goals and objectives for students.
- Maintain a caseload, ensuring timely and effective delivery of therapy services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision as part of the CF process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completion of required coursework and clinical hours for licensure.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain.
- State licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Completion of required Clinical Fellowship hours.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with students, parents, and school staff.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy (preferred).
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to improving student outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in school-based settings (internships or practicum).
- Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience working with a diverse student population.
