Job Overview
We are actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dynamic team in Lynn, MA. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with students in educational settings, supporting their communication skills and enhancing their success in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement therapy programs.
- Provide speech and language interventions in individual or group settings.
- Track student progress and prepare reports for the SLP.
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with lesson planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to meet students’ communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Valid Massachusetts SLPA license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
