Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time Position in St. Augustine, FL
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in historic St. Augustine, FL. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team and positively impact students' communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy activities tailored to each student's needs.
- Track and document student progress during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
- Maintain compliance with school district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Florida SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
