We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Dover, PA. Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement treatment plans and activities designed to improve students' communication skills.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and SLPs to support students’ IEP goals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Current PA SLPA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
- Experience in school settings is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
