Overview: Soliant Health is currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Angola, New York. We are searching for a compassionate individual who is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages improve their communication skills and quality of life. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New York state license in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting
- IEP experience preferred
- Experience with AAC devices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress
