Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school district near Big Lake, Minnesota. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders, working closely with teachers and parents to support each student's educational and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, required
- Valid Minnesota licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY Applicants encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a pediatric or school setting is a plus.
