About the Position:
We are looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Phoenix. The OT will support students with diverse needs, collaborating with teachers and families to promote functional skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy to students with various challenges (e.g., fine motor, sensory processing).
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff.
- Assess students’ needs and track progress.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Arizona state licensure (or eligibility).
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with children with autism, ADHD, or developmental delays.
- Knowledge of special education laws and IEPs.
