Position Overview:
Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking a part-time role in Palmer, MA? We are looking for a dedicated SLPA to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position involves working under the supervision of Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services as directed by SLPs.
- Support students with various speech and language needs, following individualized therapy plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of therapy activities and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with hours overseen and determined by the supervising SLPs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Massachusetts.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, students, and families.
- Ability to work independently and follow direction from supervising SLPs.
