Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time SLP to work 30 hours per week with our diverse student population. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with communication disorders while collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Provide guidance and support to families regarding communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
