Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team near Alpine, CA. This is a full-time position focused on supporting students with speech and language challenges under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing therapy plans created by supervising Speech Language Pathologists.
- Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
- Prepare materials and resources for therapy activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student success.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current California SLPA license.
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
