Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with privacy laws and ethical standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and training.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP position) or Bachelor’s degree (for SLPA position).
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as therapeutic techniques.
- State licensure (or ability to obtain licensure) in state
- For SLPA positions, certification or experience assisting in speech therapy practices preferred but not required.
- Enthusiasm for working with children or adults with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
