Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality speech and language services to students in a virtual setting, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services via teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with technology and teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
