Job Description
Soliant is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Orland Park, IL. In this school-based role, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This position allows you to make a positive impact by helping students improve their communication skills, fostering success in both academic and social settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Document sessions, maintain records, and update treatment plans as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help set goals aligned with each student’s needs
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Licensure: Valid Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience: Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
