Job Highlights:
- Location: Concord, CA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: Full school year (with potential for extension)
- Caseload: K-12 students (specific caseload will be discussed during the interview process)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with school hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate speech and language needs of students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California State SLP License
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
