Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Onsite
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (Until the End of the School Year)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position providing speech therapy services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnoses, and therapy to students with speech and communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address each student's needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
