Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team in Gooding, ID. The selected candidate will provide speech and language assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and deliver therapy services to students with varying needs, including those with hearing loss, vision loss, and multiple disabilities. Collaboration with staff will be key to ensuring effective language and speech strategies within the classroom setting. This is a full-time, onsite role offering a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and services to enhance speech and language skills.
- Serve students with hearing loss, vision loss, and multiple disabilities.
- Collaborate with classroom staff to schedule therapies and reinforce speech/language strategies.
- Participate in professional development activities to foster continuous growth and teambuilding within the school community.
- Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices and theory.
- Keep accurate records and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) with ASHA.
- SLP License in Idaho (State of Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses).
- CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) status is acceptable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Special Requirements:
- Onsite position, with support from an onsite para.
- Applicants must be able to work onsite in the Gooding, ID area.
