Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or CF) Position in Fulshear, TX
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Fulshear, TX. This position is open to both experienced SLPs with the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals, tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to design and implement strategies that support students' speech and language development.
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on student goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Adjust therapy methods and strategies based on student progress and changing needs.
- Foster a positive and supportive therapeutic environment where students feel comfortable to express themselves and make progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Texas state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student growth.
