Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist - Remote for 2025 School Year

VocoVision is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work remotely with a Nevada school district for the 2025 school year. As teletherapy continues to grow in popularity, this opportunity offers flexibility for therapists while allowing them to provide essential services to students.
About VocoVision: Our platform connects schools with highly qualified tele-practitioners, enabling you to provide speech therapy, assessments, and interventions to students remotely. Responsibilities:
- Deliver remote assessments, therapy, and diagnoses for students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement special education interventions.
- Partner with Special Education Coordinators to develop IEPs and therapy plans.
- Provide guidance to school staff on speech and language development programs.
- Monitor and report student progress to inform educational strategies.
Skills:
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain relationships with students, families, and school staff.
- Proficiency in speech therapy software and tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technology challenges.
- Knowledge of diverse student needs and special education requirements.
Experience:
- 2-3 years in a school-based therapy setting preferred.
- Experience with articulation, expressive/receptive language therapy is beneficial.
- Teletherapy experience is advantageous.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
License:
- Nevada SLP license required.
- Active licensure in both your state of residence and the state of the school district.
