Exciting Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity with ProCare Therapy
ProCare Therapy is currently collaborating with a school district in California to fulfill an urgent need for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). This is a full-time or part-time position for the upcoming school year. The role is onsite for the entire duration of the assignment.
Position Highlights:
- Location: California (onsite position)
- Duration: Full school year
- Start Date: Immediate availability
- Caseload: Mixed (variety of cases)
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time options available
- Compensation: $35 - $45 per hour, depending on experience
- Licensure: State SLPA License required
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech-language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Provide therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Document and track student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA License
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
