Multiple Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Openings – Emporia, KS Area
Soliant Health is seeking motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for four full-time openings in a supportive school district near Emporia, KS. These positions begin as soon as possible and continue through May 16, 2025, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Serve a caseload of approximately 30 students, supporting their communication and language development needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school staff to support individualized education plan (IEP) goals for each student.
- Track and document progress, assisting in the assessment and adjustment of therapy goals as needed.
- Maintain adherence to school district policies, confidentiality protocols, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field.
- Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Kansas.
- Experience working in a school setting or with K-12 students is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and effective support to students.
