Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Prior Lake, MN. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elementary students by helping them overcome communication challenges.
Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist in our elementary school setting, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to assess students, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and implement therapy plans to support students' speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (K-5)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates to parents and staff
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Minnesota SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team
