Job Description:
Vocovision is seeking a dedicated, licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic remote team providing teletherapy services to students across Michigan. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students (K-12) remotely, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Conduct virtual evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective therapy integration into the student’s academic environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and communications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in virtual IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide professional insights to multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices, teletherapy tools, and technology to enhance the telehealth experience.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- 2 years of experience working in a K-12 setting.
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms, or willingness to learn and adapt to online tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff remotely.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, therapy goals, and special education laws.
