At VocoVision, we are devoted to helping communication and language skills for students across Michigan. We develop teletherapy services to develop students in their speech and language advancement in a virtual school based position.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a driven and licensed Remote Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will develop individualized therapy sessions to students through a remote platform in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Teletherapy Services
- Assess and treat clients with a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using virtual platforms.
Conduct Assessments
- Perform virtual speech and language evaluations through online sessions to assess the student’s communication abilities.
Develop Individualized Treatment Plans
- Create personalized treatment plans based on the assessment results, addressing the specific needs and goals of students.
Provide Evidence-Based Therapy
- Deliver therapy using evidence-based techniques and interventions, such as articulation therapy, language modeling, fluency shaping, or augmentative and alternative communication.
Monitor and Adjust Treatment Plans
- Continuously monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback, progress toward goals, and any new issues that arise.
Qualifications:

Speech Language Pathology Master’s Degree.

Active Michigan state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required.

Experience in a remote setting.

Familiarity in using teletherapy platforms such as Zoom.
